Our Process
Consultation
When you contact Royalty Sensory Gyms, one of our owners will speak with you directly about your space, intended users, priorities, timeline, and the type of custom sensory environment you are planning.
We can help plan complete commercial sensory gyms for therapy clinics, schools, healthcare facilities, nonprofits, and community spaces, as well as appropriately sized home sensory rooms.
Three initial questions help us understand what can reasonably fit within your space:
- What are the room’s length, width, and height?
- What type of ceiling does the room have, and what is the usable ceiling height?
- Where are the doors, windows, columns, vents, lights, outlets, and other permanent obstructions?
We will also discuss the structure types, climbing features, wall activities, flooring, and sensory equipment that may be appropriate for the room.
Design
After the initial consultation, Royalty Sensory Gyms develops a custom layout based on the room measurements, ceiling conditions, permanent obstructions, intended users, requested activities, and project priorities.
The design may combine custom sensory gym structures, climbing walls, interactive wall activities, swings, monkey bars, platforms, slides, ramps, ball pits, trampoline enclosures, and other selected features.
Once the preliminary design is complete, we schedule a review to explain the layout, equipment placement, circulation paths, open activity areas, supervision visibility, structural considerations, and the reasoning behind the recommended configuration.
The design can be refined before approval so the completed plan reflects the facility’s functional priorities, available budget, preferred colors, and long-term use of the room.
Manufacturing
After the design and layout are approved, Royalty Sensory Gyms provides the project agreement and payment schedule. Manufacturing begins after the agreement is completed and the required deposit is received.
Our team builds the approved sensory gym structures and prepares the selected climbing components, wall activities, platforms, padding, flooring, and sensory equipment for installation.
Materials and construction methods are selected according to the approved design, intended use, component requirements, and structural needs of the completed system.

Installation
After manufacturing is complete, Royalty Sensory Gyms coordinates delivery and installation of the approved gym. Upon arrival, our crew reviews the room and installation plan with the client before beginning assembly.
The installation process may include assembling structures, securing approved components, installing padding and flooring, positioning equipment, and confirming that the completed layout matches the agreed design.
Installation requirements vary between commercial sensory gyms and home sensory rooms, so access, scheduling, site preparation, delivery routes, and facility coordination are addressed before the installation date.
Professionalism, attention to detail, structural durability, and a clear final handoff remain priorities throughout the installation process.
