Trampoline Enclosures
Custom trampoline enclosures create a defined jumping area within a sensory gym, therapy clinic, school, healthcare facility, or other supervised movement environment. Each enclosure is designed around the room dimensions, intended users, trampoline size, surrounding equipment, and available operating space.
Enclosures can be built in different shapes, sizes, heights, and configurations. Options may include a traditional enclosed trampoline area or a larger trampoline-and-basketball configuration when the room, ceiling height, equipment layout, and intended activities support that design.
During appropriately planned and supervised use, trampoline activities can involve balance, timing, coordination, motor planning, postural control, body awareness, lower-body movement, endurance, and repeated transitions between jumping, stopping, and repositioning.
Users can practice controlled jumps, start-and-stop sequences, directional changes, reaching activities, counting, imitation, or guided movement patterns. A facilitator may adjust the duration, pace, instructions, and activity format according to the individual user and program goals.
Basketball-hoop configurations can add reaching, aiming, throwing, catching, visual tracking, and hand-eye coordination activities to the jumping area. Hoop height, placement, enclosure dimensions, and surrounding padding are considered as part of the complete design.
Each enclosure may incorporate protective netting, padded framing, covered connection points, controlled entry and exit locations, and padding around nearby surfaces. These features help define the activity area but do not replace active supervision, appropriate use, or facility operating procedures.
The trampoline may be installed as a standalone activity or integrated into a larger sensory gym containing climbing walls, monkey bars, swings, slides, platforms, ball pits, quiet areas, or selected sensory equipment and activity features.
Surrounding areas may be finished with padded sensory gym flooring selected to coordinate with the enclosure, define circulation paths, and create a more visually consistent activity environment.
Custom sensory trampoline enclosures can be included in complete commercial sensory gyms for therapy clinics, schools, healthcare facilities, nonprofits, and community spaces.
They may also be considered for appropriately sized home sensory rooms with suitable ceiling height, floor space, structural conditions, supervision, and clear operating areas.
During our consultation, design, manufacturing, and installation process, we evaluate room dimensions, ceiling height, trampoline size, enclosure height, entry location, frame padding, netting, wall and floor conditions, nearby equipment, visibility, traffic flow, and required operating clearances.
